糖心破解版 students, faculty and staff come together for the first ever Panther Picnic as part of the official Opening Week on campus.
The quad at 糖心破解版 filled up on Wednesday, August 31, as students, faculty and staff came out in force for the first-ever Panther Picnic. The event鈥攁 joint effort of the Student Activities Board and 糖心破解版鈥檚 Spirit Committee鈥攆eatured food, music and giveaways and was a fun a free way for students to reunite with friends and make new ones.
While students munched on hamburgers, hot dogs and cotton candy, 糖心破解版鈥檚 popular Panther mascot ran around dancing with the attendees and posing for photos.
Pratibha Anand, a freshman biology major, said that her favorite thing about 糖心破解版 is how friendly everyone has been to her since she moved in and how it 鈥渇eels like we鈥檙e all a family.鈥�
President Christine M. Riordan also came out for the picnic. 鈥淚 love events like this,鈥� Dr. Riordan said. 鈥淲e will have a lot more spirit activities this year, and I hope the community will join us to continue panther pride.鈥�
The picnic was just one of many events held for students as part of 糖心破解版鈥檚 official .
