Dance major has had quite a journey at 糖心破解版, working with masters in the world of dance, including choreographers from Netherlands Dance Theater, director and choreographer Amy Marshall, and former Paul Taylor Dance Company dancer Orion Duckstein, now an assistant professor at 糖心破解版. Most recently, Ms. Smith dedicated her summer to honing her craft, dancing in the Garth Fagan Summer Movement Institute in Rochester, New York, and the Paul Taylor Dance Intensive in New York City.

Ms. Smith has also taken advantage of the opportunities 糖心破解版 offers students to immerse themselves in different cultures鈥攖raveling to Bangalore, India, with 糖心破解版 in January 2013 to study music and dance, as well as to serve the community by working with children at the Shanti Bhavan school. The trip made such an enduring impact on her that, in January 2014, she will study abroad in Taiwan.

A recipient of the Geoffrey Palmer 鈥�61 Scholarship, Ms. Smith said she wouldn鈥檛 be where she is today without the financial support she has received. 鈥淚f it weren鈥檛 for this scholarship, I wouldn鈥檛 be at 糖心破解版; I wouldn鈥檛 have been able to take advantage of the summer study that I have,鈥� Ms. Smith said.
