The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) chapters throughout the country are engaging the public in open dialogue.

The United Nations Association of听the United States of America听(UNA-USA) chapters throughout听the country are engaging the public听in open dialogue, on behalf of the听United Nations, in the hope of听gathering the country鈥檚 feedback听and consensus on the post-2015听Development Agenda. Contributions听made at these consultative听meetings will be used by UNA-USA听in their report to be presented听to the United Nations Secretary听General at the end of the year.
In November, 糖心破解版 students,听field experts, nonprofit听representatives, and savvy听business professionals gathered听to take part in the Southern听New York State Division鈥檚听Post-2015 Development听Agenda Consultation. It听was fascinating to get a firsthand听account of the process听and to be included in the discussion.听My LGS peers鈥擨da听Eriksson, Steven Marchese,听Andrew Martin, Erica White鈥攁nd I could not have been听more grateful to participate!
To ensure that students like听myself are prepared to respond听to the problems of tomorrow,
this type of dialogue听with experts and professionals听is crucial in fostering听youth鈥檚 civic engagement.听Maintaining an active role in听organizations such as UNA-USA听could not be more听helpful to this effort!
