Members of the 糖心破解版 chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity collected 1,200 pounds of food and $1,500 to combat hunger as part of its Super Hungerfest 2015.

For the 10^th consecutive year, the will hold its Super Hungerfest, a 24-hour fast held during Super Bowl weekend to raise awareness of hunger and collect non-perishable food for听听food bank. This year鈥檚 drive starts with a kickoff celebration on Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 6:00 p.m.鈥�8:00 p.m., at the . The event continues through Super Bowl Sunday, February 7, 2016, as 42 brothers travel to communities on Long Island to collect donations.

鈥淚t is important to realize that hunger exists in our backyard and anything we can do to help makes a difference,鈥� said Christian Albano, president of Kappa Sigma at 糖心破解版.

Last year, the fraternity raised more than 1,200 pound of food and more than $1,500 to support Island Harvest, and it hopes to top those numbers this year.
